Amber Chere' Norris-Davis

Amber Cheré Norris-Davis, age 39, of Baxley passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Her family, friends, and loved ones will miss her dearly.

Amber was born July 30, 1984 in Jeff Davis County. In her youth, she performed in dance recitals, gymnastics, cheerleading, and played the flute. A graduate in 2002, she was a cheerleader at Appling County High School. She went on to study Cosmetology and Nursing. An advocate of mental health, she worked as a mental health nurse.

Amber had a relentlessly loving spirit. Her departure comes as a great wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply. The family appreciates your support during this difficult time.

Survivors include her children, Haylee Grace Stone of Jacksonville, Florida and Blaze Caleb Stone of Annapolis Junction, Maryland; mother, Sandy Lynne Hatfield of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; father, Michael David Norris of Baxley; brothers, David Delvin Powell of Apalachicola, Florida, Aleksander Roman Kauger of Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and Michael Norris of Baxley; and sister, Makiddian Norris Youmans of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Omega Cemetery.

The visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
