Carolyn (Nail) Polk

Carolyn Polk, age 85, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Memorial Health in Savannah.

She was born October 11, 1938 in Baxley to the late Linton Lee Nail and the late Geraldine Peacock Nail. She is preceded in death by three sons, Crowell “Smokey” Nash, George “Bear” Nash, and Linton Lee Nash, and a daughter, Patricia Nash.

Survivors include her son, Donnie Nash, Sr. of Baxley; daughters, Martha Christopoulo of New Ellington, SC and Debbie Hand of Baxley; sister, Jewel Hulsey of Centre, Alabama, and brother, Wendell (Janet) Nail of Baxley.  Eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00AM at Baxley Graveyard with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
