Carter James Dukes

Carter James Dukes was welcomed into this world at 9:26 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 weighing two pounds, one and one-half ounces and twelve and one-half inches long. He passed away ten days later, on Friday, August 1, 2025 in the N.I.C.U. at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah.

Survivors include his parents, Allen & Michelle Dukes; sister Joshalyn Marple; maternal grandparents, Darlene Parker and William (Lisa) Crews; paternal grandparents, David & Pam Dukes; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. John Daughtry and Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Carter James Dukes Cemetery 765 JR Roberson Road, Baxley, GA 31513.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
