Dan Joseph Devereaux

Dan Joseph Devereaux, age 57, of Surrency passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his residence under the care of Georgia Hospice Care.

Dan was born October 9, 1968 in Waycross to the late Joseph Henry Devereaux and the late Carolyn Turner Devereaux. He worked in construction, building homes as a framer.

Survivors include his fiancé, Suzanne Elliston of Surrency; stepmother, Freda Gibbs Devereaux of Surrency, sister, Ramona Devereaux of Surrency; and half-sister, Jolene (Doug) Quick of Waycross.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00AM at Devereaux Family Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Smith officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Patrick Mobley, Patrick Theron Mobley, Ethan Mobley, and Brendon Mobley.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and family in attendance and the staff of Georgia Hospice Care.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
