Debra (Stone) Skinner

Debra Stone Skinner, age 74, of Richmond Hill passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 at her residence under the care of Georgia Hospice Care of Savannah.

Mrs. Skinner was born on January 27, 1952 and was a native of Appling County She was a retired paraprofessional with Richmond Hill Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Martha Lee Edwards Stone, her brother, Ronnie Stone, and her sister, Wendy Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John Royce Skinner; daughter, Brianna (Joe) Carlino; son, Derek Skinner (Meghan Brown); grandchildren, Cameron (London) Brown, Caleb (Charity) Brown, Caylee Brown (Conner Horton), and Kennedy Rae Skinner; great grandchildren, Hermione Hudson, Lora Mae Hudson, and Cheyenne Lea Brown; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Asbury Cemetery with Rev. Dave Smith officiating.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Swain Funeral Home.
