Earnest Clyde Ansley

Earnest Clyde Ansley, age 83, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Ansley was born November 20, 1941 in Appling County to the late John Clifford Ansley and the late Ina Kight Ansley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Dianne Dell Ansley, and son, Mark Allen Ansley. Mr. Ansley retired from Plant Hatch and was a welder and carpenter. He attended Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Jason (Brittany) Ansley of Evans and Daniel (Nancy) Ansley of Baxley; sister, Sue Thomas of Baxley; brother, Cliff Ansley of Inverness, FL; and grandchildren, Sierra McCall, Meg Ansley, Christian Ansley, Emily McFeely, Madeline Williams, Ashley Bryant, Branden Bryant, Riley Horne, and Damian Ansley.

A private family graveside service will be held at Appling Memorial Gardens.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Scotty Turner, Allen Turner, Pam Sharpe, Jamie Sharpe, Andy Arnold, Dusty Arnold, DaNeil Sharpe, Greg Thomas, Debra Lawrence, Keith Thomas, and members of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
