Eva (Nantz) Morris

Eva Louise (Nantz) Morris, age 56, of Hazlehurst passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at her residence. 

Eva was born December 19, 1967 in Coco Beach, Florida but lived in Orlando, Florida and Baxley, Georgia before making her home in Hazlehurst. She was a clerk at McDonald’s Lodge for many years and a former cashier at Flash Foods. 

Eva is preceded in death by her son, Weston Smith; parents, Donna Mae (Yancey) Canady and Dale Nantz; sister, Lynn Nantz, and brother, James Nantz. 

Survivors include her husband, David Morris of Hazlehurst; daughter, Kristie Morris of Hazlehurst; and son, David Morris, Jr. of Hazlehurst.

A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin McLellan officiating. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
