Franklin Greg Thornton

Franklin Greg Thornton, age 56, of Baxley passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.

Mr. Thornton was born on August 5, 1966 in Bradenton, Florida and was a welder for R & B Pump Company.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Thornton of Baxley; daughter, Skyla Thornton of Baxley; sons, Michael Thornton of Atlanta and Dylan Altman of Baxley; mother, Ruby Joyner of Johnson City, TN; father, Frank (Hilda) Thornton of Baxley; sisters, Serena (Josh) Dewitt of Jesup, Kim (Bill) Kishbaugh of Greenville, TN and Teresa Jacobs of Baxley; brothers, Reggie (Jin) Thornton of Bulls Gap, TN, Sam Thornton of Baxley and Neil (Cali) Schuman of Blackshear; and three grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
