Helen (Brigman) Thomas

Helen Brigman Thomas, age 78, of Baxley died Monday, August 22, 2022.

The Appling County native was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her dogs and visiting with others.  She was a fiercely independent soul who lived life her way until her passing.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Lois & Jody Brigman, husband, Earl Thomas and a son, Gene “Buddy” Foster, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Tammy & Bo Flowers of Jesup; brothers-in-law, Gary (Sandy) Thomas and Pat (Sue) Thomas. Grandchildren, Heather Flowers, Brittany (Benjamin) Mason, Deanna (Kyle) Mosley and Diane (Cole) Yawn and several great-grandchildren also survive.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
