Ja’Queze Xavier Kirby, Jr. was born at 12:07 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in Douglas, Georgia. He was 9 pounds and one ounce and was twenty-two inches long.

Ja’Queze Jr. departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ja’Queze, Jr. was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Alice “Lisa” Drone and Hilda Valencia, his uncle Ja’Quavious Kirby, and his cousin Rikki Zuniga.

Ja’Queze, Jr. leaves to cherish his life and memories with his parents: Bianca Torres, and Ja’Queze Kirby; his siblings, Riley Kirby, Lydni Kirby, and Tristan Kirby; grandparents, Tino & Esmeralda Torres Marquita Clements and Jason (Jackie) Kirby; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church with Minister Ricardo Clements, Evangelist Patricia Jackson Clements, and Evangelist Dorothy Dotson. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Al Hall, Kolby Carter, Kyrese Manley, and Jaylene Kirby.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jayshaun Kirby, Tyreck Howell, Cristian Torres, and Justin Torres.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home Hazlehurst Chapel.
