Joyce Lewis Riddle

Joyce Lewis Riddle, age 66, of Baxley, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Riddle was born April 24, 1951 in Bacon County and was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  Mrs. Riddle was a retired school teacher for the Appling County Board of Education.

Survivors are her husband, Richard Riddle of Baxley; a son, Adam Riddle of Baxley; parents, Brady & Eula Lewis of Alma; brother & sister in law, Roy & Gwen Lewis of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Brown & Rev. Justin McLellan officiating.  Mrs. Riddle will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service.

Interment will follow in Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday evening 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Swain Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers are Jason Carter, Jake Carter, Treavor Johnson, Ethan Lewis, Ricky Carter & Jeffrey Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Young At Heart Sunday School Class & the Ladies’ Sunday School Class of Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
