Latrelle Dyal Yawn

Latrelle Dyal Yawn, age 83, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at her residence under the care of Georgia Hospice care.

Mrs. Yawn was born on February 26, 1943 in Appling County to the late Robert Dyal and the Late Edna Prescott Dyal. She worked for many years as a secretary for Gibson McDonald Furniture Store. She was a member of Ferry Road Baptist Church and was their oldest member. Mrs. Yawn was known as a very sweet and kind lady who loved her family very much.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clinton Yawn.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Walsh of Alma and Mandi Yawn of Baxley; and a son, Jason Yawn of Baxley. Six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Darron Jackson, and Rev. Adam Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Omega Cemetery.
