Laurie (Osteen) Taylor

Laurie Osteen Taylor, age 59, of Surrency passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Hazlehurst Court Care.

Laurie was born May 15, 1964 in Bacon County and was a seamstress at Douglas & Harper Mfg. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rudolph & Lavada Norris and Howard & Ethel Lamb Osteen.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley (Blake) Carter of Baxley; son, Dustin Campbell of Baxley; parents, Phillip & Diane Osteen of Surrency; sisters, Hollie (Kendall) Mincey and Allyson (Stewart) Reeves both of Baxley; grandchildren, Brixton Campbell, Baylor Webb & their mother, Hannah Webb, and Colton Carter and Cason Carter; and nieces and nephews, McKenzie Mincey, Jack Reeves, & Nick Reeves also survive.

A graveside will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Jerry Lightsey officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Jody Collins, Reid Collins, Stan Norris, Gary Norris, Adam Osteen and D.J. Kimberly.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tara Kroll and staff of Regency Southern Care Hospice, staff of Hazlehurst Court Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
