Martin Ray Crapps

Martin Ray Crapps, age 76, of Baxley passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Crapps was born on March 6, 1950 in Seattle, Washington to the late Thomas Horace Crapps and the late Loretta Marie Herbert Crapps. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Rayonier/Interfor. Mr. Crapps enjoyed coaching the Appling County 4-H BB Team, participating in the Cattleman’s Association, assisting many community farmers and attending all his grandson’s events and activities.

Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Crapps and Allison Williams, both of Baxley; son, Jared Crapps of Baxley; and one grandson, Kade Crapps also survives.

A private service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Miles Chapel Church with Rev. Robbie Tomberlin officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend graveside at 11:30. Following the service, a Celebration of Life and fellowship with family and friends will follow in the Church Social Hall.

Active pallbearers will be Bruce Esquinaldo, Tommie Esquinaldo, Matt Butler, Mark Gallagher, Justin Wilcox and Dustin Horne.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Wilcox, Kelly Serafini, Danny Cauley, Johnnie Anderson, Bobby Huddleston and Kevin Huddleston.

Interment will follow in Miles Chapel Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Swain Funeral Home.
