Melanie M. Herrington

Melanie E. Herrington, age 59, of Baxley passed away Monday, January 15, 2024.

Ms. Herrington was born April 13, 1964, in Appling County to the late Ira Lee Herrington and the late Ruby Ophellie Haynes Herrington. She was formerly employed in the dietary department of Appling Healthcare. She was a loving mother and Mema and was always willing to offer a helping hand.

Survivors include her sons, Shawn Kersey and Jason Kersey; her sister, Pam Herrington; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home.
