Nesbitt (Yawn) Mimbs

Nesbitt Yawn Mimbs, age 74, of Fernandina Beach passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Ms. Mimbs was born October 4, 1946 in Hazlehurst to the late George Allen Yawn and the late Thelma Collins Yawn. She was the owner and operator of Mimbs Marketing.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Raleigh & April Mills of Baxley; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra & Bobby Currie of Dublin; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn & Donna Yawn of Dublin; two grandsons, Kade Mills of Hazlehurst and Will Parker of Baxley; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Zoar Cemetery with Rev. Robert Wigley officiating and a eulogy given by Sandra Curry.

Remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
