Rebecca Dean Kemp

Rebecca Dean Kemp, age 91, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Pavilion.
She was born June 4, 1923 in Appling County to the late Horace Horatio Dean and the late Myra Carter Dean. She was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church and a retired seamstress. Mrs. Kemp enjoyed farming and Sewing and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Roscoe Kemp and a son, Ralph Kemp.
Survivors include her sons & daughters in law, Robert & Heather Kemp of Portland, Maine, Ronald & Phyllis Kemp of Kentucky, Walter Kemp of Nashville and William & Donna Kemp of Baxley; A sister, Peggy Luke of Baxley; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 5, 2015 from Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Mike Rogers, Terry Merritt, Jimmy Davis, Billy Kemp, Mike Luke and Jennifer Kemp Rogers.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
