Robert William Akins, age 82, of Baxley passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Akins was born September 4, 1942 to the late Lavellon Willie Akins and the late Myrtice (Hodges) Akins. He worked as a welder and mechanic for Morris Machine Shop.
He is survived by his three daughters, Jill, Susan, and Lisa, and siblings, Culberth “Skip” Akins of West Palm Beach, FL, Emmett Akins of Ocala, FL, Karen Breedlove of Ft. White, FL, and Elwanda Santiago of Fredericksburg, VA.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 5PM until 6pm at Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
