Ronald Stephen Reagin, Jr.

Ronald Stephen Reagin, Jr., age 56, of Baxley passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 from injuries sustained in an accident.

Stephen was born September 12, 1969 in Jeff Davis County and was a retired Corporal with the Savannah Police Department. Stephen was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served in the Persian Gulf War and in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was also a certified scuba diver and an underwater welder. Stephen was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger Bennett Reagin and son, Garrett Nataniel Reagin.

Survivors include his parents, Dr. Ronald & Nancy Reagin of Baxley; sister, Hilari Reagin of Athens; and a brother, Joshua Reagin of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Baxley with Rev. Mike Redwine and Pastor Darron Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be members of the SWAT Team.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Reddy, Josh Reagin, Michael Todd, Christopher Rush, and members of the Georgia Federal Task Force, and members of Savannah Police Department.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
