Shirlene Arlene (Knight) Jackson

Shirlene Arlene Jackson, age 61, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Jackson was born October 15, 1962 in Brantley County to the late Lloyd Knight and the late Ruth Groover Knight Crummey. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and a seamstress. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Donald Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney Carlton Jackson of Baxley; sisters, Rose Toler of Hazlehurst, Patsy Dicky of Vidalia; and mother-in-law, Janice Lightsey of Baxley.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Stalvey and Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Zoar Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Lynn, Birlen Lynn, David Dukes, Zebulun Stark, Clint Toler and Eddie Jackson.

Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
