Mrs. Shirley Beckworth, age 72 of Mitchell, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at her residence.
She was a native of Baxley and was a daughter of the late Edward Rickett and Loretta Jones Rickett and spent her life as a homemaker.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, and brother; Wayne Rickett and is survived by her loving husband of 55 years; Henry Beckworth and brothers; Bill Rickett and Lyle Rickett.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Beckworth-Swinson Cemetery in Baxley.
Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Taylor Funeral Home in Gibson, Georgia.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
