Thedous Anderson

Thedous Anderson, age 93, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Middleburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Ms. Anderson was born on October 5, 1932 in Appling County to the late Elmer Dyal and Louisa Myers Dyal. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Mike” Dyal; sister, Ada Lee White; and a brother, James Dyal.

Survivors include her sister, Betty Forehand of Baxley; two grandsons, Jason Dyal of Saint Augustine, Florida and James Dyal of Macclenny, Florida; two great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren also survive.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Omega Cemetery with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
