Vedennis Dixon, age 75, of Baxley died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Dixon was born, January 28, 1939, in Appling County, GA to the late Devis and Irene Dixon. He was preceded in death by his wife Tillie Norris Dixon and his son Robert Johnson. Mr. Dixon was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his son Danny (Wendy) Norris of Hoboken, GA; three sisters-in-law, Joyce (Richard) Deen of Baxley, GA, Barbara (Ricky) Morris of Baxley, GA and Janice (Axel) Carlson of Brunswick, GA; one brother-in-law; Kenneth (Montine) Johnson.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 2:00PM at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
