Vivian Joyce Fales, age 72, of Baxley died Wednesday, September 11,2013.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. from Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include 5 Daughters, Joyce Marie Creamer, Lynn Hesters, Tonda Norton all of Baxley, Kim Hesters of Hazlehurst and April Wolfe of Baxley; 2 Sons, Earl Fales of Hazlehurst & Shawn Fales of Baxley; 1 Sister, Margie Byrd of Hartsville, S.C; 1 Brother, Ray Atkinson of Hartsville, S.C. 29 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren & a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Fales was born on February 14, 1941 in Hartsville, South Carolina to the late Cohen Atkinson and the late Pearl Wallace Atkinson. She was a member of Clyde Church of God. Mrs. Fales was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Fales, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Active Pallbearers: Andy Atkinson, James Roach, Bunkey Hesters, Roy Wigley, Jamie Parlor & Kelvin Wilcox.
Honorary Pallbearers: All friends in attendance.
Visitation: Mrs. Fales will be carried to the home on 385 Buckhorn Road, Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. until being moved to the Church on Saturday to lie in state from 11:00 AM until funeral hour.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
