Waltine D. Taylor

Waltine D. Taylor, age, 101, of Baxley died Thursday, August 29, 2013 in the Appling Healthcare System. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Daniel will officiate & a Eulogy will be given by Chris Taylor. Active Pallbearers: Mitchell Taylor, Tony Carter, David Taylor, Darrell Taylor, Michael Hutcheson & Eric Carter. Honorary Pallbearers: All friends in attendance. Survivors are: 2 Daughters & Son in Law, Christine Hutcheson of Baxley and Maxine & Buddy Bivens of Bryon; 2 Sons & Daughter in Law, Clifton & Mary Lee Taylor of Savannah and Cecil Taylor of Baxley. 17 Grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. Biographical Information: Mrs. Taylor was born May 1, 1912 in Emanuel County. She was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was former owner & operator of Taylor Grocery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Albert Taylor. Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Swain Funeral Home.
